There are three basic problems blogs solve for marketers, businesses, and people looking to make money not simply online but in general.

– Not enough prospects or qualified leads,

– Lack of money to operate your business, and

– Lack of credibility

NOT HAVING ENOUGH PROSPECTS OR QUALIFIED LEADS: This is one of the biggest reasons as to why people fail in business. Prospects are the lifeblood to any business. Having more prospects traditionally leads to more signups, which leads to a greater volume of business being conducted, resulting into a greater earnings potential.

Although more leads can contribute to additional income it is not enough for success. However, not having enough leads will guarantee a quick end to any business.

A LACK OF MONEY TO OPERATE A BUSINESS will cause any business to fail. Some people cannot buy the motivational and marketing materials, they cannot pay to go to the conferences and most of all, they cannot afford to make the monthly commitments for their online businesses.

If they cannot afford to make monthly commitments, they wont get paid. If they cannot get paid, they cannot continue their business. It’s a vicious and repetitive cycle.

LITTLE OR NO CREDIBILITY is a big problem for many marketers. Why? People don’t think they should associate with someone who may have less education, money, or social status than them because they feel that the individual would not be able to offer any additional value to their lives.

Now one of the best solutions that I have come up with to alleviate many of these problems lies within a blog. A blog is a great tool for you to generate leads and can be operated/maintained on minimal funds. Establishing a blog increases your Internet presence, further increasing credibility, while allowing you to be an authority in a given subject area.

Every time you write a blog post, it’s one more indexed page on your website. It’s also one more cue to Google and other search engines that your website is active and that they should be checking in frequently to see what content you’ve published and which they should surface.

Every new indexed page is one more opportunity for you to show up in search engines, and drive traffic to your website through an organic search.

Blogging will also help you get discovered via social media. Every time you write a blog post, you’re creating content that people can share on social networks – Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ — which helps expose your business to a new audience that doesn’t know you yet.

 

IT HELPS CONVERT THAT TRAFFIC INTO LEADS

Now that you have traffic coming to your website through your blog, you have an opportunity to convert that traffic into leads.

Just like every blog post you write is another indexed page, each post is a new opportunity to generate new leads. And the way this works is really simple: Just add a lead generating call-to-action to every blog post.

Often, these calls to action are things like free ebooks, free whitepapers, free fact sheets, free webinars, free trials…basically, any content asset that someone would be willing to exchange their information for. To be super clear for anyone unfamiliar with how traffic-to-lead conversions work, it’s as simple as this:

For Example: Go to www.tradingniches.com

 

Visitor clicks call to action button and gets to a landing page, which contains a form for them to fill in with their information.

After viewing the website fill out the form on the right hand side.

 

Visitor fills out form, submits information, and receives the free offer.

Upon doing so you will receive more information or a free offer similar to the Free Ebook that I offer on trading and investing in Forex and Cryptocurrencies.

 

That is how you turn that traffic coming to your blog into leads for your sales team.

 

IT HELPS ESTABLISH AUTHORITY

The best business blogs answer common questions that individuals have. If you’re consistently creating content that’s helpful for your target customer, it’ll help establish you as an authority in their eyes. This is a particularly handy tool for professionals within the sales and service industry.

Can you imagine the impact of sending an educational blog post you wrote to clear things up for a confused customer? Or how many more deals a salesperson could close if their leads discovered blog content written by that salesperson.

 

IT DRIVES LONG-TERM RESULTS

You know what would be cool? If any of the following things helped you drive site traffic and generate new leads

So while your relaxing in Bora Bora, picking up your kid from school, and hitting your snooze alarm, you’re also driving traffic and leads. One hour of effort today can turn into hundreds of thousands of views and leads in the future.
